Operation Flashpoint 2 revealed at last
First look at Codies' endlessly delayed FPS sequel
We have, at long last, uncovered screenshots of Operation Flashpoint 2 - the sequel to 2001's fantastic free-roaming shooter - which is as eagerly awaited as it is delayed.
The game - currently in development at Prague's Bohemia Interactive Studio - was originally due to be released at the end of last year, but is now scheduled to hit shelves in 2006.
Its mission-based campaigns take gamers through fictional conflicts based upon authentic events during the years around 1970 and it will, we're told, "set a new standard in its realistic portrayal of conflict situations".
Expect more on the game once E3 officially begins on Wednesday.
