We knew that plans were afoot for an EyeToy sports title back in January but it's only now that we've seen the first screens from Konami's baldly-titled EyeToy Sports. In trademark EyeToy fashion, the game is actually a compendium of 15 separate motion-detecting titles, including football, baseball, golf and horse racing (we can't even imagine).
In addition - as you can see in the last two shots here (hit the 'more shots' icon on the right) - a bonus Art Studio mode allows players to capture an image and then use it to create sliding puzzles or a cube-based puzzle game. While these screenshots, which are courtesy of Japanese website EG, aren't of the highest quality, they do at least give you a pretty good idea about what to expect from the game. We should have more details on it soon.
EyeToy Sports is released for PS2 in Japan in July, although a UK release date has yet to be announced
