Kojima working on new project
Metal Gear legend Hideo Kojima working on brand-new top-secret game to be announced at E3
Following on from the release of Metal Gear Solid 3, Hideo Kojima is reportedly already hard at work on a new game, choosing to work himself to the bone once more, instead of taking a well-earned break on some remote island paradise - like we all would if we were him.
The latest issue of Japanese games bible Famitsu reported the news, although were unable to confirm any details about the game, merely shrugging its shoulders and pointing in the direction of E3.
Naturally we'll be keeping our ears to the ground for further information at next week's E3.
Kojima is best known for his Metal Gear Solid series and, to a lesser extent, for creating Mech adventure Zone of the Enders, which perhaps give some indication of the sort of game we should expect from him.
Kojima recently wrapped up a Metal Gear Solid 3 promotional tour, a game that has now sold an impressive three million copies worldwide, with a visit to London to greet fans and members of the gaming press.
At the London press event, held in a restaurant specialising in unusual food, we were present to witness Kojima actually eating real cooked snake - an event we rudely filmed and placed online here for all to download. If you've not yet seen this, do so now.
