General Info

Rautanyrkki 7 fighting game tournament
December 1-3, in Helsinki area, Finland
Free entry to foreign players
Sleeping at the venue is possible

Rautanyrkki (Iron Fist in English) is the largest fighting game event in Finland. It's held twice a year and the events last one weekend, Friday-Sunday. RN6 on April gathered 100 people with one quarter of the players from abroad. The presence of Swedes and Norwegians resulted a very exciting Nordic rivalry aspect the tournaments and created an unbelieveble atmosphere. I'm hoping to see more of that at RN7 too! Material from previous events: RN6 Article - Pictures - Tournament Videos - RN5 Camera Footage

Venue

The venue is called Hedåsen. It's located in Helsinki area, 30 min bus trip from the central costs 40 NOK. Features:
- Room for 200 people

My special invitation goes to all the people who attended Rautanyrkki 6 a few months ago - Wallace, Robbie3s, Rising Uppercut, Dead Alchemist etc - and people who I met at Versus in Sweden, namely NiloPilo and JINsama. Also, EagleJin, hopefully this time you'll make it here too. Sweden is going to have a strong presentation at RN7 and all Finnish players truly hope that Norwegians will be able to come too. :) (RN7 thread at Bitter Harmony)

Sorry, didn't see this until now . Saw your post on the swede Vf site. Thought I'd check it out. I've been a bit slow on the fighting games events lately. Even spillegal isn't one of the priorities anymore :p

Very tempting, as always, but it's right up to my finals this year (either 28th Nov or 4th Dec), and studies must, unfortunately, come before anything.
But who knows.. Kuma may find the time to pop up with his dancing skills. You never can tell with time :p.

I'll know which date my finals take place early Nov..

Unfortunately no possibility to show up this time, even tough I had a great time this summer!

I hope everything goes well with your arrangement, and hope to see you in the future! :D

Blæ .. I just starting to look into fighting-games again after three years of break, I know I am way to rusty to compete, but as I said, I really miss fightinggames so maybe next time in the future.

Take care. =)
