Those stupid fucking scrubs just have no idea what the game is about. The only possible reason they could have for not wanting to play in a bastardized metagame where most of the so-called "fun" game options are turned off is that they originally tried to play competitive Smash but found they sucked at it. There's just no other explanation for it!
When you play with items turned on, it's all about luck instead of skill. Casuals need to understand that. I mean, what if I was playing with items on and some scrub threw a Bob-omb at me? That isn't fun. GETTING KO'D IS NEVER FUN AND LOSING BECAUSE SOME FAGGOT SCRUB THREW A BOB-OMB AT YOU DEFINITELY FUCKING ISN'T FUN. THIS ISN'T FUCKING POWER STONE, PEOPLE! If you switch item drops off, however, you're playing a tournament-level fighter that's easily TWICE as balanced as either 3rd Strike, MvC2 OR GGXX #Reload!
Moving stages like Big Blue and Pokefloats also require no skill to play on. Especially Big Blue. I mean come on! You can barely even wavedash on that level, and there's like, NO edges to guard. How DARE HAL make a stage that demands the adaptation of a different style of play to the one I'm used to? HOW FUCKING DARE THEY?
Those scrubby fags like to preach about "fun" and how they don't think turning items off and playing on Final Destination (it is NOT a boring stage, fags!) is "fun". When are these idiots going to realize that WINNING is the most fun you can have playing video games? Really what I'm trying to say is, if you don't play video games to win above all else, you're not a real gamer. That's the bottom line.
