Jepp folkens, da var oppfølgern til fjorårets tøffeste spill ute. Med unntak av en ny treningsmodus som er rimlig bøs er det lite annet nytt enn flere sanger. Playlista er og vel full av dritt som ingen vil huske om fem år (Avenged Sevenfold!
), men slægere som Message in a Bottle, Mother og Killing in the Name of skaper tilgivelse. Det faktum at flere av bonussangene denne gangen faktisk rocker shit hjelper og på. Trogdor, Jericho og Thunderhorse er faktisk mye artigere å spille enn noen av de ofisielle gnurrelåtene. Selv suger jeg egg og har rytmesans som en døv lama så jeg spiller ikke høyere enn normal, men har det gøy for det.
Spillet fåes både i løs utgave for de som allerede har gitar fra orginalen og i ny pakke med en snacksy rød strengplate. Den er forøvrig identisk med den orginale. Seinere på året en gang skal og spillet dukke opp på 360, men jeg tviler på at det er så mye vits å vente siden det er en ren port.

RANDOM BITS OF INFORMATION
- Songs are more challenging this time around, and chords can now have three notes at once
- Co-op mode has "co-op star power" where the two players need to raise their guitars at the same time
- There will be a practice mode to practice each section of the song, rhythm and bass parts, and also to slow down the song.
- Multiplayer now allows each player to choose their own difficulty
- 3 new characters: Lars Umlaut [Norwegian death metal guy], Eddie Knox [rockabilly guy], Casey Lynch [badass shirtless girl]
- A load more guitars, basses, and skins, along with some secret rocking guitars...
- Pull-offs will no longer require the lower note to be held and the window for succesful pulloffs/hammer ons has been widened.
- There WILL be chords that require holding the green and orange buttons at the same time.
- A new "More stats" after the song that goes into greater detail including your average multiplier, star power sections hit, and the percentage of notes hit on each section.
- 3 multiplayer modes: Co-op, a Face-off mode like the one found in GH1, and a new Pro Face-Off that has both players play the entire song.
