PlayStation 3 survival-horror revealed!
Possession to offer next-gen zombie antics... with a twist
With all the Xbox 360 chatter that's been doing the rounds recently, it's easy to forget that Sony will also be unveiling their next-gen console at E3 in a couple of weeks.
Indeed, it's been disturbingly quiet on the PS3 gossip front - which makes these brand new screenshots of PS3 horror-fest Possession all the more gratifying.
Currently in development by the Leamington Spa-based Blitz, the game blends realtime strategy with zombies - the twist being that players actually get to take charge on the undead.
As the Enslaver, your goal is to destroy an entire city using an army of the undead built from its inhabitants. Blitz is promising "carnage at all costs" across the "free-form and reactive city. How you choose to destroy it is up to you." Sounds good to us.
No doubt we'll be seeing more of Possession at E3 but, for now, take a look at the first ever in-game shots on the right.
Possession will be released for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in 2007
