Quake Live, den remaken av Quake 3 til browsere er ikke bra nok. Diverse betatestere har kommet med disse forslagene om hvordan man kan gjøre Q3 bedre.

"Mega Health and Armour should not be cummulative but instead you can only pick up the mega health when your health is back to 100, and your armour has either depleted or have come down to some low value like 10 or so. This way it removes controlling those pickups. Even though controlling is a skill itself (less so in QL due to the timer), using this system allows the other player a chance to get extra health and armour pickups....thus balancing each players health better."
