Horrible. As a hardcore Tekken fan I will say that none of this is good news at all. Tekken becoming multiplatform will only serve to slow down its progress and give us a weaker overall game. Things that should be easy to fix will require twice the work. This could also explain the horrendous wait time we have from here on out. An entire year of waiting until it comes out (without stating which country it will appear on first) , after seeing tons of people play the arcade version for over a year. This is always the story with Namco products. They never advertise their games well, and never attempt to satisfy their console fans (when it comes to Tekken). This is part of the reason why they sell poorly here in the U.S. They haven’t even given us a demo of it yet. I mean it is running on PS3 hardware…how hard could it be to make a demo? Just let the console owners without access to the arcades try out the game. Once again, they release superb content, but advertise very poorly. Many people will lose interest in the game a year from now, with games such as Street Fighter 4 on the way. It makes no sense to delay it an entire year, with the updated version out already. I mean any updates after this one can be a pack you can upload via the psn network (or now xbox live as well). I am no game developer but even I can tell that a whole year to port a game to the ps3 , when it is already running on ps3 hardware in the arcades is too much. It should take no more than 3 or 4 months honestly. The fact that it is going to take an entire year is bad, not just for the pain of having to wait so long, but the fact that competitively you will be at a serious disadvantage, if you play seriously and want to go to tournaments, like myself. News like this can turn even the hardest core Tekken players very bitter, and leaning towards a new game…….Street Fighter 4 is looking really nice right about now…..
