kommer det flere trailere før spillet kommer ut?

Hvis PR kampanjen er nogenlunde like slik den var for de forrige spilla (og det virker det som) kommer det snart en ganske lang trailer med masse action. Etter det får websider som spillespy og gameshit masse småklipp å legge ut.

The following information has been written by GamePro, an Australian magazine. As usual, take this as speculation because magazines don't have to state the truth exactly as it is, however this has a good chance of being official information.

- What you can carry in home invasions depends on your strength and time in gym.
- You can negotiate a price with the fence on stolen items.
- You will seemingly have the ability to jack the trams in San Fierro.
- You will see ruins in San Fierro from the 1989 Earthquake.
- Lombard road and the Trans-America tower are in the game.
- Cops chase peds in high speed chases and helicopters can even get involved. These chases can result in your death however.
- Helicopters seem to be avaliable in San Fierro.
- You can speak to pedestrians using dialogue boxes, similar to those seen in Role Playing Games.
- Climbing will be similar to the climbing in Tony Hawks Underground.
- Hints that the player will be able to steal trains and even skateboards.
- Angel Pine is the size of two Vice City blocks.
- It would appear there's no limit on how high you can fly.
- You can fly for minutes in a straight line without coming into contact with a town.
- CJ's mobile will help you get back on track if you get lost.
- A complete day takes 24 minutes to pass. Exactly the same as previous games.
- You can view your health in the stats page.
- It should take the average gamer about 130 to 150 hours to complete using a strategy guide.
- Each main city has an airport with vehicles to jack.
- The game might be open from the begining or it might not. Rockstar are still deciding on this.

Info on Las Venturas:

-There is a casino called "The V-Rock Casino", modeled after the Hard Rock Cafe.

-Other casinos include: Caligula's Palace, the Visage, Pirates in Men's pants, and the Pink Swan, all modeled after their real life counterparts in Las Vegas

-The famous neonlight cowboy in Vegas is also in SA, but it is Avery Carrington instead.

-There is a huge Candy Suxxx figure on one of the buildings.

-You can now gamble in the casinos, you wont be able to acess all of them, but Rockstar claims there will be a lot for you to visit.

-You can play "tons" of casino games, including blackjack, craps, slots, roulette, video poker, and wheel of fortune. Being a high roller will also help you gain respect.

-There will be drunken Elvis Impersonators! Rockstar has also paid great attention to detail inside of the casinos.

-Rockstar hasnt cofirmed whethere or not CJ will be able to own and run his own Casino yet.

-The first of the screens included in the article about LV, is a picture of the strip, with the Avery Carrington neon lights, the Candy Suxxx figure, a hotel, a Casino, a giftstore and a car driving by.

-The next screenshot shows a security guard inside a casino, and several card tables and dealers in the background.

-There is a screen of CJ riding down the Ventura strip in his car. Hotels, and more casinos are shown in the background.

-The next picture shows two elvis impersonators standing at the bar inside of the casino.

-Next is a picture of CJ playing a slot machine. Below that is a smaller screenshot of a boat, and more cars driving down the strip in the screenshot next to it.

Edit: Skrivelars, det var fete bilder du linka til, ikke biler. Og dessuten passer lausunge bedre enn jævel.

Oi, nå er det mye å ta tak i...

For det første er spillet utsatt i en uke både i USA og Europa (samme skjedde med Vice City til PS2). Dette er både bra og dårlig. Bra siden det viser at Rockstar ikke tviholder på datoen for enhver pris, men dette tyder jo også på at sliter med å få ferdig spillet i tide. Er redd spillet slippes med mange bugs og dårlig framerate :(

Skuffende at PC-versjonen kommer ikke før i 2.kvartal 2005 (mai, juni, juli ) og heller ikke snakk om en Xbox-versjon ennå. Hadde kanskje tenkt å vente på en av de to versjonene, men med så lang ventetid kjøper jeg nok den underlegne PS2-versjonen...

Og nå får jeg Shenmue flashbacks:
