Første gangen jeg prøvde spillet koste jeg meg helt til første oblivion gate hvor jeg ble most, jeg tenkte at jeg kunne ta noen sidequests for å få litt bra equipment og levle litt. Jeg hadde jo bl.a. valgt athletics som major - ikke lurt. Oblivion gaten var hundre ganger vanskeligere når jeg kom tilbake selv om jeg var høyere level. Etter det så starta jeg nytt game og runna hele spillet på level 2 (tok ca 6 timer totalt), tok også hele arenaen når jeg var level 1, på strak arm.[/b]
Dermed: Motivasjonen for å levle er å sikre seg selv nye utfordringer. Man går alltids lei av bare å denge pinglefjomser som sprekker bare du vifter med kniven mot dem.
Så Oblivion krever at du gjør noe selv for å opprettholde utfordringsnivået, det holder deg ikke i hånda hele tiden slik mange andre spill gjør. Men det står da også i manualen.
